The complete license agreement — including scope, account coverage, renewal terms, and support commitments — is issued with your license key.

What your license includes

• Maintenance and updates — the extension is updated for compatibility with CloudFormation and the AWS services it depends on as they evolve.
• Bug fixes — defects in behavior, lifecycle handling, or error reporting are corrected under the active license.

What licensing funds

Updraft Extensions are a paid product because durable infrastructure primitives require sustained investment to remain reliable. Your license funds:

• Compatibility testing — each CloudFormation and AWS service release is tested against the extensions that depend on it before reaching customers.
• Lifecycle correctness — extensions are held to CloudFormation’s create, update, delete, and rollback semantics; any deviation is treated as a defect, not acceptable behavior.
• Long-term availability — extensions you build on are versioned and maintained with a stability commitment, not abandoned as priorities shift.
